Elders Training 1

The following topics are included: disciple-making, penetrating new areas, the Biblical basis of EVANDIS, the five areas of church life, house church meetings, women in ministry, house church network, Elders, and church finances. 
Elders Training 1 is typically covered in a four-day conference setting, but it can be taught in a variety of ways. It is designed to help prepare trainers (disciple-makers) to become Elders in a house church network. Some of the material is location specific and may need to be adapted for your area.
There are some minimal qualifications we look for from someone who wants to receive Elders Training. (1) They have completed EVANDIS. (2) They lead a group that meets at least weekly and includes at least three other believers. (3) They have trained or are currently training others in EVANDIS. (4) Their group is intentional about becoming a house church.

This training includes the following topics: leadership skills development, evaluating a house church, church planting, communications skills, conflict resolution, time management, caregiving, Biblical counseling, and more.

This material is designed to help an Elder oversee several house church trainers. Some of the material is location specific and may need to be adapted for your area.
